The men's double sculls competition at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London took place are at Henley Royal Regatta Course on the Henley-on-Thames. Dickie Burnell
Richard Desborough Burnell (26 July 1917 – 29 January 1995) was an English Rowing (sport), rower who won a gold medal at the 1948 Olympics alongside Bert Bushnell in the sculling, double sculls.
