Rowan Pennink
Rowan Pennink (born September 3, 1985) is an American former professional stock car racing driver who last competed part-time in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. Pennink was a long-time competitor of the series, having made his debut in 2007, won three races and one pole position between 2010 and 2018. Pennink was the 2013 Modified Racing Series championship and also won two track championships in the SK Modified division at Stafford Speedway in 2015 & 2016. Pennink has also competed in the now defunct NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, as well as the Modified Racing Series, the ACT Late Model Tour, the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Tour, the EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series, the Tri-Track Open Modified Series, and the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. Delaware Speedway
Delaware Speedway is a paved race track that is one of the oldest continuously operating tracks in Canada. It is located a few minutes west of London, Ontario northeast of Delaware, Ontario. The 2010 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was the 26th season of the Whelen Modified Tour (WMT). It began with the Icebreaker 150 at Thompson International Speedway, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 11. Chemung Speedrome
The Chemung Speedrome is a 3/8-mile asphalt racetrack in the Southern Tier region of New York, United States. It is the home track of former NASCAR stars Geoff, Brett and Todd Bodine. Overview Eli Bodine Jr. and Eli Bodine Sr., father and grandfather of Geoff, Brett and Todd, built the originally dirt-surfaced oval in a Town of Chemung corn field in 1951. The surface was later paved and the racetrack continued in operation until the Bodine family closed it in 1978. After buying the track in 1985 one of the current owners, Bob Stapleton, started to rebuild the track in 1997 and in 2000 the track held its inaugural event. Spencer Speedway
Spencer Speedway is a flat asphalt oval located in Williamson, New York. The complex also includes a quarter-mile dragway. Overview Spencer Speedway was built by brothers Del, Walt and Merle Spencer, and opened in August 1955. The brothers operated the facility until 1993 when it was sold to Todd Hartman and rebranded the Apple Valley Speedway. Due to financial issues, Hartman transferred the property to his brother-in-law, Jeffrey Tome, but by 1996 the Spencer brothers resumed control. It was purchased by John White in 2005, who also owned the Chemung Speedrome. Since 2018 the facility has been managed by Joe Scotnicki's Race of Champions organization. Riverhead Raceway
Riverhead Raceway is a oval race track with a Figure 8 course, located in Riverhead, New York. It is the only auto racing venue on Long Island since Westhampton Raceway closed down in 2003. It started being built in 1949 and opened as a dirt track in 1951, before permanently changing to asphalt in 1955. The raceway was also well known for featuring a towering statue of a Native American, dubbed "Chief Running Fair", at its entrance until it was destroyed in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy but rebuilt by Christmas and still standing at its original location.
