Rosy Afsari
Rosy Afsary (also Rosy Samad, 23 April 1946 – 9 March 2007) was an actress in the Bangladeshi film industry. She was awarded the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in its first ceremony in 1975 for her role in the film '' Lathial''. Career Afsary started her career in 1964 through ''Eito Jibon'' film. She appeared in over 200 Bengali films and always played a positive sad role. She also acted in 25 Urdu films. She was President of Zia Sangskritik Parishad (Zisus). Personal life Afsary was first married to filmmaker Abdus Samad. Poulose Kunji Rosy (10 February 1903 – 1988), known as P. K. Rosy, was an Indian actress and the first woman to act in a Malayalam film. She starred in J. C. Daniel's silent film ''Vigathakumaran'' (''The Lost Child''), for which she was targeted at the 1928 premiere by an angry mob because of her lower-caste status. Born and raised as Rajamma in a Pulaya family, she developed an early interest in acting and began performing in local plays with the support of her uncle. In 1928, she was selected for the lead role in J. C. Daniel's debut film ''Vigathakumaran'', in which she portrayed ''Sarojini'', an upper-caste Nair woman. Maurice Rosy (17 November 1927 – 23 February 2013), was a Belgian comics writer who also worked as artistic director of '' Spirou'' magazine during its golden period. Biography Rosy was born in Fontaine-l'Évêque. He was employed by Charles Dupuis in 1954 as "giver of ideas" at the Franco-Belgian comics magazine '' Spirou''. Two years later he assumed the position of artistic director, which he remained until 1971. Rosy Wertheim (19 February 1888 – 27 May 1949) was a Dutch pianist, music educator and composer. Biography Rosalie Marie Wertheim was born in Amsterdam to parents John and Adriana Rosa Gustaaf Wertheim Enthoven. Her father was a banker and Rosalie attended a French boarding school in Neuilly, where she took piano lessons. She studied piano with Ulfert Schults and harmony and counterpoint with Bernard Zweers and Sem Dresden. In 1921 she took the state exam in piano and graduated from the Nederlandse Toonkunstenaars Vereniging. From 1921 to 1929, she taught at the Amsterdam Music Lyceum, composed songs and choral works and conducted children's and women's choirs. Rudoph F. "Rudy" or "Rosy" Rosatti (September 12, 1895 – July 9, 1975) was an American football player. Rosatti was born in 1895 at Norway in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He attended Norway High School. Rosatti played football at North Dakota State University and Western Michigan University before enrolling at the University of Michigan. He played tackle for the 1922 Michigan Wolverines football team. He later played professional football for the Cleveland Indians (1923), Green Bay Packers (1924-1927), and New York Giants (1928). He appeared in a total of 45 NFL games, 40 of them as a starter.
