Rosario Martínez (football Manager)
Rosario Martínez (3 September 1957 – 22 April 2021) was a Uruguayan football manager and former player. Career Born in Santa Lucía, Canelones, Martínez played as a senior for Quilmes de Florida, and began his managerial career with Wanderers de Santa Lucía in 1990. After being in charge of lowly sides and Salus, he moved abroad in 1994 to take over Ecuadorian side Olmedo. Martínez was in charge of Guatemalan club Xelajú in 1996, and became an assistant of Roberto Fleitas at Nacional Montevideo in the following year. In 1999, after a season at Progreso, he moved to Bolivia with Independiente Petrolero. Martínez continued to work in the country in the following years, with Real Santa Cruz, Real Potosí (two stints) and Guabirá, aside from another spell at Oviedo. Santa Lucía, Uruguay
Santa Lucía () is a city in the Canelones Department of southern Uruguay. Santa Lucía is also the name of the municipality to which the city belongs. Geography The city is located on the intersection of Route 11 (Uruguay), Route 11 with Route 63, about northwest of Kilometre Zero#Uruguay, the centre of Montevideo. The river Río Santa Lucía, after which the city is named, flows along the northwestern limits of the city. History Santa Lucía was founded in 1782 with the name of ''Villa San Juan Bautista''. It had acquired the status of "Villa" (town) before the Independence of Uruguay. On 15 June 1925, its status was elevated to "Ciudad" (city) by the Act of Ley Nº 7.837. Roberto Fleitas
Roberto Fleitas (25 May 1932 – 3 March 2024) was a Uruguayan association football, football head coach and player who managed the Uruguay national football team, Uruguay national team and several top level Uruguayan clubs. He is one of the four managers, and the first, to have won both Copa América and Copa Libertadores, along with Francisco Maturana, Óscar Tabárez and Tite (football manager), Tite. Career Born on 25 May 1932, Fleitas played as a centre-back for Montevideo-based club Liverpool F.C. (Montevideo), Liverpool. After retiring from playing, Fleitas started a career as a head coach. He won the 1987 Copa América as Uruguay national football team, Uruguay national team coach, and won the 1992 Uruguayan Primera División, the 1988 Copa Libertadores and the 1988 Intercontinental Cup as Club Nacional de Football, Nacional's head coach. Heart Attack
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when Ischemia, blood flow decreases or stops in one of the coronary arteries of the heart, causing infarction (tissue death) to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is retrosternal Angina, chest pain or discomfort that classically radiates to the left shoulder, arm, or jaw. The pain may occasionally feel like heartburn. This is the dangerous type of acute coronary syndrome. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, presyncope, feeling faint, a diaphoresis, cold sweat, Fatigue, feeling tired, and decreased level of consciousness. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Women more often present without chest pain and instead have neck pain, arm pain or feel tired. Telenoche is the news program of the Uruguayan Channel 4. It has been broadcast daily since 1968. Three editions of the newscast are produced by Channel 4, being called differently, depending on the time of day, and are simulcast live on owned-and-operated stations throughout the country. is a national Uruguayan daily newspaper. It is based in the capital city of Montevideo and is regarded as the newspaper with the largest circulation in the country. It was first published on September 14, 1918 and previously belonged to the same media group as the television network Teledoce. History was founded on September 14, 1918. Julio César Ribas
Julio César Ribas Vlacovich (born 8 January 1957) is a Uruguayan association football manager and former footballer. He is the current manager of River Plate Montevideo. Career as manager Ribas was appointed the manager of Primera Division Uruguaya side Peñarol in January 2009. Following the Oman national football team's defeat against Japan in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the Omani Football Association sacked Ribas, due to the result and the performance of the team in that match.
