Romancing the Runoff was a charity auction held in 2020, supporting voter organizations in the U.S. state of Georgia. It supported the Democratic Party's Senate candidates participating in the 2020–21 United States Senate election in Georgia and the 2020–21 United States Senate special election in Georgia runoff elections. New Georgia Project
The New Georgia Project is a non-partisan effort to engage, register and build power for traditionally underrepresented groups like Black, Latino and young voters in Georgia. In addition to registering voters and boosting voter turnout, another focus is to monitor for changes at election boards around the state of Georgia to be able to help other voters fight and/or adapt to the changes. As of 2024, it has become the largest and most recognizable voter registration and turnout organization in Georgia, with 10 field offices around the state. Fair Fight Action is an American political organization founded in 2018 by Stacey Abrams to address voter suppression in Georgia and across the United States. Origins Stacey Abrams had long been involved with the Democratic Party, serving as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives since 2007, and was the minority leader 2011–2017. In 2018 Abrams ran for Governor of Georgia against Republican Brian Kemp. The 2018 gubernatorial race received national attention for irregularities in voter access to the ballot. Courtney Milan, a pseudonym for Heidi Bond, is an American author of historical and contemporary romance novels. After releasing her first few books under a traditional publishing contract, Milan has self-published more recent works.
