Dimas Lara Barbosa (born April 1, 1956) is a Brazilian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as auxiliary bishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro from 2003 till 2011, when he became archbishop of Campo Grande. In church governance, a diocese or bishopric is the ecclesiastical district under the jurisdiction of a bishop. An ecclesiastical province is one of the basic forms of jurisdiction in Christian Churches with traditional hierarchical structure, including Western Christianity and Eastern Christianity.
