Rodinná Pouta
''Rodinná pouta'' () is a Czech soap opera produced and broadcast by Prima and aired from 2004 to 2006. It was the first original series broadcast nationwide in the Czech Republic on a commercial television station; until that time, all original local series had been broadcast by state broadcaster Czech Television, and earlier its predecessor, Czechoslovak Television. The show, which produced 240 episodes over the first two seasons, attracted over a million viewers, becoming Prima's most-watched programme. Characters The show follows the lives of the Skála, Rubeš and Boháček families and many other people that live around them. Czech Radio
Czech Radio (, ČRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest national radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second-oldest in Europe after the BBC. Czech Radio was established in 1992 by the Czech Radio Act, which sets out the framework for its operation and finance. 2004 Czech Television Series Debuts
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve. ''Četnické humoresky'' is a Czech Republic, Czech crime television series about a gendarmerie investigative unit, stationed in the city of Brno. The story is set in the period of interbellic First Czechoslovak Republic and combines elements of Police procedural, crime drama and comedy. The stories are based on real case files from that era. The series was directed by Antonín Moskalyk and later by his daughter Pavlína Moskalyková Solo. One of the goals of the series producers and showrunners was to show the life of Czechoslovak gendarmes. The series is not entirely focused on law enforcement and criminal investigations; it also shows private lives of the gendarmerie officers. The series ran for 3 seasons, totaling 39 episodes.
