Rocky Mountain College (Rocky or RMC) is a private college in Billings, Montana, United States. It offers 50 liberal arts and professional majors in 24 undergraduate disciplines. As of 2013, the college had 1,069 enrolled students. RMC is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the United Church of Christ. History Rocky Mountain College traces its history to the 1878 founding of the Montana Collegiate Institute in Deer Lodge, Montana. Renamed the College of Montana, that institution closed in 1916, and in 1923 its assets and those of Montana Wesleyan College were incorporated into Intermountain Union College (IUC) in Helena. A former president of the College of Montana, Lewis Eaton, founded the Billings Polytechnic Institute (BPI) in 1908 as Billings's first post-secondary institution. Helena (; ) is the List of capitals in the United States, capital city of the U.S. state of Montana and the county seat, seat of Lewis and Clark County, Montana, Lewis and Clark County. Helena was founded as a gold camp during the Montana gold rush, and established on October 30, 1864. The Miss Montana USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Montana in the Miss USA pageant. From 1994 to 2007, it was directed by Carol Hirata and the Carlton Group, based in Bellvue, Colorado. In 2012, it was taken by Pageants NW Productions based in Puyallup, Washington until 2021. Since 2021, the pageant is based in Great Falls, Montana under directed by Lime Light Enterprises. Sharon D. Chris Horn (American Football)
Chris Horn (born July 13, 1977) is a former American football wide receiver who played for the Kansas City Chiefs. Early years Horn played college football at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He is the only player from Rocky Mountain College to make the National Football League (NFL). Professional career Chris Horn signed with his first professional team, the Billings Thunderbolts of the Indoor Football League in 2000. He then moved to the AFL, playing for the Arizona Rattlers from 2001–2003. The Christian Heritage Party of Canada (), also known as CHP Canada, is a Canadian federal political party that is part of the Christian right. Founded in 1987, it was the brainchild of two couples in British Columbia, namely Bill and Heather Stilwell who were Roman Catholics and Ed Vanwoudenberg and his wife, Reformed Protestants. Arlo Davy Guthrie (born July 10, 1947) is an American folk music, folk singer-songwriter. He is known for singing protest song, songs of protest against social injustice, and storytelling while performing songs, following the tradition of his father, Woody Guthrie. A mime artist, or simply mime (from Greek language, Greek , , "imitator, actor"), is a person who uses ''mime'' (also called ''pantomime'' outside of Britain), the acting out of a story through body motions without the use of speech, as a theatrical medium or as a performance art. Bill Bowers (born April 16, 1959) is an American mime artist and actor based in New York City. As an actor, mime and educator, Bill has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. He is a Movement for Actors Instructor at NYU Tisch School for the Arts and also teaches at the William Esper Studio and the Stella Adler Studio in NYC. Early life Bill was born in Missoula, Montana and graduated from Montana's Rocky Mountain College with the Dean's Cup, President's Award, and was valedictorian.
