"Rock'n'Roll-Übermensch" (also spelled "Rock'n'Roll Übermensch") (Rock'n'roll Superman) is a song by the German rock band Die Ärzte. It is the 18th track and the fourth single from their 2000 album '' Runter mit den Spendierhosen, Unsichtbarer!''. Music video The band is performing in a department store. Throughout the song, Bela slowly grows larger and larger until he becomes too large for the stage and eventually bursts through the store's ceiling. The video is shot in a cinema verite style, directed by Philipp Stölzl and Johannes Grebert. Philipp Stölzl
Philipp Stölzl (born 1967 in Munich) is a German director. He began to direct music videos in the mid-1990s and directed his first feature film in 2002. Life and career Philipp Stölzl was trained as a set and costume designer at the Münchner Kammerspielen where he graduated in 1988. He worked in these professions in German theatres and began to work for films in 1996. He debuted as director in 1998 with the music video for Rammstein's " Du riechst so gut". Rodrigo "Rod" Andrés González Espíndola (born 19 May 1968) is a Chilean-born German musician known as the bassist and one of the singers of German rock band Die Ärzte. Early life González's parents were politically persecuted in Chile during the Augusto Pinochet, Pinochet dictatorship, and so were granted Right of asylum, asylum in Hamburg.
