The Rising People's Party (RPP) is a political party of Nagaland, India founded by Joel Naga in 2021. The motto of the party is "For Freedom and Democracy". Nagaland
Nagaland () is a States and union territories of India, state in the northeast India, north-eastern region of India. It is bordered by the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh to the north, Assam to the west, Manipur to the south, and the Naga Self-Administered Zone of the Sagaing Region of Myanmar, Myanmar (Burma) to the east. 2024 Lok Sabha Election

2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Nagaland on 27 February 2023 to elect all 60 members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 2 March 2023. The election marked a historic moment as it saw the first-ever election of two female MLAs to the Nagaland Assembly. Background The previous assembly elections were held in February 2018. After the election, coalition of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formed the state government, with Neiphiu Rio becoming Chief Minister. Tseminyü District is the 13th List of districts of Nagaland, district of the Indian state of Nagaland. It was created on December 18, 2021. The district headquarters is located in the town of Tseminyü. It is home to the Rengma Nagas, with a population of 63,269 (2011) and an area of 256 square kilometres. History Tseminyü District was created on December 18, 2021 as the 13th district of Nagaland. The new district has the same boundaries as the former Tseminyü sub-division of Kohima District. India–Myanmar Border
The India–Myanmar border is the international border between India and Myanmar (formerly Burma). The border is in length and runs from the tripoint with China in the north to the tripoint with Bangladesh in the south. History 19th century The first formation of the Indo-Burmese border was through the First Anglo-Burmese War, which resulted in the Treaty of Yandabo in 1826.
