Marinus "Rinus" David Israël (born 19 March 1942) is a Dutch former professional association football, football player and manager who is currently a scout. Nicknamed "Iron Rinus", he formed a solid defence line at Feyenoord with Theo Laseroms. Club career During his career he played for AFC DWS, DWS (1962–66), Feyenoord Rotterdam (1966–74), SBV Excelsior, Excelsior Rotterdam (1974–75) and PEC Zwolle (1975–82). Cathrinus "Rinus" Dijkstra (born 19 October 1969), professionally known as Zanger Rinus (Dutch for "Singer Rinus"), is a Dutch musician. Biography In 2009 Rinus released the song "Hey Marlous", an adaptation of "Schöne Maid, hast Du heut' für mich Zeit" by the German singer Tony Marshall from 1972. "Hey Marlous" is about Dutch singer Marlous Oosting. He became well known among the general public because the television program ''De Wereld Draait Door'' paid attention to it in one of their broadcast in the section ''De tv draait door''. After this followed more songs, such as "Hé Kastelein" (2010) and "Met Romana op de Scooter". The latter song was put on YouTube on 8 July 2011 and was viewed more than 300,000 times within five days. Marinus Johannes Richardus "Rinus" Wortel (born 18 December 1947) is a Dutch geophysicist. He was professor of tectonophysics at Utrecht University between 1989 and 2012. Since 2013 he has been unpaid professor of geophysics at the same university. Early life Wortel was born on 18 December 1947 in Amsterdam. He attended the '' gymnasium''. Wortel subsequently wanted to study geology and had a strong interest in the physical aspects of the field. In 1965 he started his study of geophysics at Utrecht University, at that time the only place in the Netherlands offering the study. In 1980 Wortel obtained his PhD at Utrecht University under N.J. Rinus van Kalmthout (; born 11 September 2000), known professionally as Rinus VeeKay, is a Dutch people, Dutch racing driver. He competes in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 18 Dallara-Honda for Dale Coyne Racing. Career Karting Van Kalmthout started karting in 2009. The eight-year-old won races in the Four-stroke engine, 4-stroke cadet championship with a DR chassis. He finished second in the championship. Marinus "Rinus" Terlouw (16 June 1922 – 17 December 1992), also known as ''"De Rots"'' ("The Rock"), was a Dutch footballer. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics and the 1952 Summer Olympics. Career In his youth he played for CVV Zwervers in his hometown of Capelle aan den IJssel, where he first appeared in the first team at age 17. Afterwards, he played for DCV from Krimpen aan den IJssel, before finally moving to Sparta in 1948, where he ended him making 248 appearances. In addition, he gained 34 caps for the Netherlands national team. In 1958, he retired as a footballer and subsequently returned to DCV as a manager.
