John Ney Rieber
John Ney Rieber is an American comic book writer. Career John Ney Rieber's first professional work in comics was scripting over the finished pages of the graphic novel '' Tell Me, Dark'', conceived by his late friend and mentor Karl Edward Wagner and artist Kent Williams. Initially, Williams approached Wagner with five pages of art asking him to write a story around that. Wagner agreed, and the pair signed a contract with DC Comics to release an 80-page hardcover graphic novel. At the beginning of production, the book's initial editor Karen Berger took an extended maternity leave. The replacement editors accepted Wagner's script, but as soon as Berger returned, she rejected the script and asked for rewrites, while Williams also changed some narrative elements as he saw fit. Hanna Rieber
Hanna Rieber (; 28 January 1927 – 9 September 2014) was a Romanian-born Israeli actress of stage, screen and television. She performed on stage at the Haifa Municipal Theatre, the Orna Porat Children's Theater, the Beersheba Theater (of which the latter three she co-established) and the Yiddishpiel. Rieber was awarded the Fringe Lifetime Achievement Award by the Golden Hedgehog Association for her work and contribution to the non-institutional theater field in 2013. Biography Rieber was born in Romania on 28 January 1927. She had one brother. Rieber began her career in acting at the Bucharest Yiddish Studio Theater from which she would later graduate. There, she had roles in ''The Threepenny Opera'' and '' The Diary of Anne Frank'' and earned the National Award for Acting as a result. Paul-Christian Rieber (born 30 March 1958) is a Norwegian businessperson and former president of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). He lives in Bergen, Norway. Rieber has, since 1990, led the billion-dollar company GC Rieber, a family-owned company with over 100 family members as shareholders. GC Rieber operates in various industries, including shipping, marine oils, salt, skins and property. He has been an elected representative in the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise for many years. He was the leader of its Forum for family businesses and active owners, until elected as president of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise on 10 June 2008. On 24 April 2010, Rieber withdrew as president of NHO, following a scandal in which a company he held the chairmanship of had evaded paying several hundred million Norwegian krone in customs on fish oil imports from Morocco. Torkild Rieber
Torkild Rieber (March 13, 1882 – August 10, 1968) was a Norwegian immigrant to the United States who became chairman of the Texas Company (Texaco). Born in a small town in Norway, Rieber became a seaman at the age of 15. By 1904, he was the master of an oil tanker, which was bought the next year by the newly founded Texas Company, or Texaco. He rose steadily through the ranks to become chairman in 1935. The next year he arranged for Texaco to buy the Barco oil concession in Colombia. Over the next three years he oversaw the major engineering feat of opening the remote oilfield and building a pipeline through rugged and jungle-covered terrain to the Caribbean coast. Rieber was sympathetic to the fascist regimes in Europe in the 1930s and illegally supplied oil on credit to Francisco Franco's forces during the Spanish Civil War.
