Rheinmetall Mk 20 RH-202
The Rheinmetall Mk 20 Rh-202 (short for ''Maschinenkanone 20 mm Rheinmetall'') is a 20 mm caliber autocannon designed and produced by Rheinmetall. It fires the 20×139mm ammunition originally developed for the Hispano-Suiza HS.820. The cannon is used on German military vehicles, including the Marder infantry fighting vehicle, the Spähpanzer Luchs and some variants of the Wiesel AWC. It is used in the Argentinian VCTP, an IFV based on the TAM chassis. A towed twin mount antiaircraft version was produced and used by Argentina in the Falklands War. German naval ships also employed Rh 202 mounts, usually two on frigates and destroyers, four on larger replenishment ships. They have been or are currently being replaced with the new Mauser, now a subsidiary of Rheinmetall, MLG 27 remote-controlled guns of 27 mm calibre. Thyssen Henschel UR-416
The Thyssen Henschel UR-416 is a German armoured personnel carrier, first introduced in 1969 and based on the body of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog light truck. Development In 1965 an armoured car version was designed based on a Unimog 4×4 truck chassis. The UR-416 was produced in 1969 only for export. Fiat CM6614
The Fiat CM6614 is a 4x4 wheeled armoured personnel carrier developed as a joint venture between Fiat and Oto Melara of Italy. The hull is welded steel, and the vehicle is amphibious. The first prototype was built in 1972. Description The CM6614 hull is made of welded steel with uniform thickness of 8 mm; the driver's seat is on the front left of the vehicle and is equipped with five episcopes to the front and side of the driver which covers a field of vision of 200°. The engine with the transmission is located in on the front right side of the vehicle in order to have as much space as possible for the team of soldiers being transported. The crew compartment in the rear is equipped with a powered ramp for rapid disembarkation / embarkation of troops. There is also a hatch on both sides in the middle of the vehicle.
