Safety
Safety is the state of being protected from harm or other danger. Safety can also refer to the control of recognized hazards in order to achieve an acceptable level of risk. Meanings The word 'safety' entered the English language in the 14th century. It is derived from Latin , meaning uninjured, in good health, safe. There are two slightly different meanings of "safety". For example, " home safety" may indicate a building's ability to protect against external harm events (such as weather, home invasion, etc.), or may indicate that its internal installations (such as appliances, stairs, etc.) are safe (not dangerous or harmful) for its inhabitants. Discussions of safety often include mention of related terms. Security is such a term. With time the definitions between these two have often become interchanged, equated, and frequently appear juxtaposed in the same sentence. 4X (abbreviation of ''Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate'') is a subgenre of strategy-based computer and board games, and includes both turn-based and real-time strategy titles. The gameplay generally involves building an empire. Emphasis is placed upon economic and technological development, as well as a range of military and non-military routes to supremacy. The earliest 4X games borrowed ideas from board games and 1970s text-based computer games. The first 4X computer games were turn-based, but real-time 4X games were also common. Carbon Based Lifeforms is a Swedish electronic music duo formed in Gothenburg in 1996 by Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid (''né'' Ringström and formerly Segerstad). History Formation and early period Hedberg and Ringström (both born in 1976) first met in 1991 when they were 15 years old, after the former was transferred to the same class as Ringström. Sons of Korah are an Australian Christian band founded in 1994 in Geelong. The band's name references the Old Testament family of that name. The group put Psalms to music, using them as lyrics, almost verbatim. As of 2014, the band has interpreted over 50 of the 150 Psalms into songs including, notably, the Psalms' theme of longing for justice. Refuge (band)
Rage is a German heavy metal band formed in 1984 by Peter "Peavy" Wagner. They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene that emerged in the early to mid-1980s and are considered part of the scene's "big four" alongside Grave Digger, Helloween, and Running Wild. Rage was formed in 1984 under the name Avenger. After releasing their debut album '' Prayers of Steel'' and the '' Depraved to Black'' EP in 1985, the band changed their name to Rage due to the existence of another band in England with the same name.
