React (Erick Sermon Album)
''React'' is the fifth solo studio album by American rapper and producer Erick Sermon. It was released on November 19, 2002 via J Records, making it his second and final album for the label. Recording sessions took place at L.I.T.E. Recording Studios in Long Island, New York. Production was handled primarily by Sermon, except for several tracks, which were produced by Just Blaze, Andre Ramseur, Kaos, Megahertz and Rick Rock. The album features guest appearances from Free Marie, Icarus, Keith Murray, Khari, Lyric, MC Lyte, Rah Digga, Red Café, Redman, Sy Scott and Gregory Howard. The album spawned two singles: " React", which made it to #36 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and "Love Iz". ''React'' peaked at number 72 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart in the United States. Marie Antoinette Wright (born February 7, 1968), better known by her stage name Free, is an American media personality, television producer, choreographer, rapper, and philanthropist. She became known as the first host (alongside A. J. Calloway) of Black Entertainment Television's ''106 & Park'' until 2005. "La Di Da Di" is a song performed by Doug E. Fresh, who provides the beatboxed instrumental, and MC Ricky D (later known as Slick Rick), who performs the vocals. It was originally released in 1985 as the B-side to " The Show". The song has since gained a reputation as an early hip hop classic, and it is one of the most sampled songs in history. Run-DMC (also formatted Run-D.M.C., RUN DMC, or some combination thereof) was an American hip-hop group formed in Hollis, Queens, New York City in 1983 by Joseph Simmons, Darryl McDaniels, and Jason Mizell. Run-DMC is regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of hip-hop culture and especially one of the most famous hip-hop acts of the 1980s. Along with Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, and Public Enemy, the group pioneered new-school hip-hop music and helped usher in the golden age hip-hop. "King of Rock" is a 1985 single by Run–D.M.C. and the title track from their album of the same name. Albert Leornes Greene (born April 13, 1946), known professionally as Al Green, is an American singer, songwriter, pastor and record producer.
