Raubtier
Raubtier (German language, German for "predator") is a Swedish language, Swedish industrial metal band from Haparanda. They released their debut album, ''Det finns bara krig'' ("There is only war" in English language, English), in 2009. (album review) Their first single, ''Kamphund'' ("Attack Dog"), had already become a hit on the Swedish radio station Bandit Rock 106,3. The band's second album, titled ''Skriet från Vildmarken'' ("The Call of the Wild"), was released in 2010. Pär Hulkoff
Pär Hulkoff (born 25 August 1980), known by his stage name Hulkoff, is a Swedish musician. His first releases were as the lead singer and guitarist for the industrial metal band Raubtier in 2009, and then country rock group Bourbon Boys. Since 2017, he has been active as a solo artist, making Nordic folk music, Nordic folk influenced power metal under the name Hulkoff. Hulkoff's solo sound has been compared to that of fellow power metal band Sabaton (band), Sabaton. In fact he featured their lead singer, Joakim Brodén, on his 2017 album ''Kven''. Works and style Hulkoff's original band was Raubtier. They released their first album, ''Det finns bara krig,'' in 2009. He released his first country-rock album with Bourbon Boys, ''Shotguns, Trucks & Cattle'', in 2013. The album was praised for its 'fast and catchy' tunes with 'whisky-soaked vocals'. Jonas Kjellgren
Jonas Kjellgren (born 4 July 1977) is a Swedish musician and producer, now residing in Grangärde. He has been lead vocalist for Carnal Forge and Dellamorte, played guitar for Centinex, and played bass for October Tide. He is most famous for being the former co-founder and guitarist of Scar Symmetry, founded in 2005. As a producer, he has worked with bands such as Sonic Syndicate, Zonaria, Steel Attack, 21Lucifers, Darzamat and The Absence. He owns and operates Black Lounge Studios, which many Swedish metal bands use to record, mix and master their albums, although most of his own production efforts are done at The Abyss, which is owned by Peter Tägtgren. Atomkraft
Atomkraft are an English speed metal band from Newcastle, who were part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. They formed in 1979, disbanded in 1988, and reformed in 2005. Atomkraft's "Total Metal" approach draws inspiration from fellow NWOBHM bands such as Motörhead and Venom, punk rock bands such as The Dickies, and early Exodus or Slayer. Lead vocalist/bassist Tony Dolan also fronted Venom for a number of years in the late 1980s and 90s. Haparanda
Haparanda (; Meänkieli and Finnish: ''Haaparanta'', ) is a locality and the seat of Haparanda Municipality in Norrbotten County, Sweden. It is adjacent to Tornio, Finland. Haparanda has a population of 9,166 inhabitants (2024). Haparanda is located near the Sweden-Finland border, at the northerly extreme of the Swedish coastline, as well as the easternmost point in Sweden, far removed from large cities. Its summers are very warm for a coastal location so far north, and winters are normally not extremely cold in spite of the relative proximity to the Arctic Circle. As a twin city, Haparanda has strong connections to Tornio and the Finnish side of the river and bilingualism of Swedish and Finnish is common although Swedish is the sole official language and the mother tongue of a vast majority of inhabitants. Defleshed
Defleshed is a Swedish death/thrash metal band. The group was formed by guitarist Lars Löfven, formerly of Convulsion and Inanimate. He was joined by ex-Crematorium bassist Gustaf Jorde shortly after recording a demo. In 1995 drummer Matte Modin joined the band. They have released several albums on high-profile metal labels. In November 2005, it was announced that Defleshed had officially split-up. The band also had a side project named Vargavinter. In January 2021, Defleshed announced they had reformed and they were working on new material. In July 2022, the band announced they had signed with Metal Blade Records and would be releasing their new album, ''Grind Over Matter'', on October 28, which will be the band's first album in 17 years. ''Leviathan or The Matter, Forme and Power of a Commonwealth Ecclesiasticall and Civil'', commonly referred to as ''Leviathan'', is a book by the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes (1588–1679), published in 1651 (revised Latin edition 1668). Its name derives from the Leviathan of the Hebrew Bible. Norrland (, , originally ''Norrlanden'', meaning 'the Northlands') is the northernmost, largest and least populated of the three traditional lands of Sweden, consisting of nine provinces.
