Ralph A. Jackson III (born October 26, 1962) is an American former professional basketball player who played briefly in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life Jackson attended Inglewood High School in Inglewood, California. The school's basketball team was the nation's top-ranked team in 1980, going undefeated and winning the national championship, with Jackson the CIF player of the year and all-time assists leader. At UCLA, Jackson averaged 8.4 points, 4.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 111 career games between 1980 and 1984. Career Jackson was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the fourth round of the 1984 NBA draft with the 71st overall pick. The Stratford Martyrs were eleven men and two women who were burned at the stake together for their Protestant beliefs, either at Bow, London, Stratford-le-Bow, Middlesex or Stratford, London, Stratford, Essex, both near London, on 27 June 1556 during the Marian persecutions. Ralph Jackson (priest)
Ralph Jackson (died 1559) was an English 16th-century clergyman who served as Master of the Savoy. Jackson was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge, matriculating at Michaelmas 1549. Previously vice-master of the Savoy Hospital, Jackson was appointed Master on 9 June 1553, but was immediately (the surrender dated 10 June) required to surrender the hospital to King Edward VI, the assets to be transferred to the new hospital of Bridewell Palace. Queen Mary restored the hospital, and Jackson as Master, by royal warrant on 15 June 1556.
