Racial Integration
Racial integration, or simply integration, includes desegregation (the process of ending systematic racial segregation), leveling barriers to association, creating equal opportunity regardless of Race (classification of human beings), race, and the development of a culture that draws on diverse traditions, rather than merely bringing a racial minority group, minority into the majority culture. Intercultural Gardens is a project of the German Association of International Gardens (''Internationale Gärten e.V.''), resident in Göttingen. ''The Detroit News'' is one of the two major newspapers in the U.S. city of Detroit, Michigan. The paper began in 1873, when it rented space in the rival ''Detroit Free Press'' building.
