Ramakrishna Mission
Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) is a spiritual and philanthropic organisation headquartered in Belur Math, West Bengal. The mission is named after the Indian Hindu spiritual guru and mystic Ramakrishna. The mission was founded by Ramakrishna's chief disciple Swami Vivekananda on 1 May 1897. The organisation mainly propagates the Hindu philosophy of Vedanta– Advaita Vedanta and four yogic ideals – Jnana, Bhakti, Karma, and Raja yoga. The mission bases its work on the principles of Karma Yoga, the principle of selfless work done with a dedication to God. Overview The Math and the Mission are the two key organizations that direct the work of the Ramakrishna movement. The Ramakrishna Math, alternatively referred to as the Ramakrishna Order, is a monastic institution associated with the religious movement established by Ramakrishna in 1886. Reichskommissariat Moskowien
Reichskommissariat Moskowien (RKM; ) was the civilian occupation-regime that Nazi Germany intended to establish in central and northern European Russia during World War II, one of several similar ''Reichskommissariate''. It was also known initially as the Reichskommissariat Rußland (), but was later renamed as part of German policies of partitioning the Russian state. Siegfried Kasche was the projected ''Reichskomissar'', but due to the Wehrmacht's failure to occupy the territories intended to form the ''Reichskommissariat'', it remained on paper only. Territorial planning The administrative capital was tentatively proposed as Moscow, the historical and political center of the Russian state. As the German armies were approaching the Soviet capital in the Operation Typhoon in the autumn of 1941, Hitler determined that Moscow, like Leningrad and Kiev, would be levelled and its 4 million inhabitants killed, to destroy it as a potential center of Bolshevist resistance. For this p ...

RKM Code
The RKM code, also referred to as "letter and numeral code for resistance and capacitance values and tolerances", "letter and digit code for resistance and capacitance values and tolerances", or informally as "R notation" is a notation to specify resistor and capacitor values defined in the international standard IEC 60062 (formerly IEC 62) since 1952. Other standards including DIN 40825 (1973), BS 1852 (1975), IS 8186 (1976), and EN 60062 (1993) have also accepted it. The updated IEC 60062:2016, amended in 2019, comprises the most recent release of the standard. Overview Originally meant also as part marking code, this shorthand notation is widely used in electrical engineering to denote the values of resistors and capacitors in circuit diagrams and in the production of electronic circuits (for example in bills of material and in silk screens). This method avoids overlooking the decimal separator, which may not be rendered reliably on c ...

Rotary Piston Machine
The Rotary Piston Machine () is a proposed (still in development) form of machine. It can be used either to transform pressure into rotational motion (an engine), or the converse - rotational motion into pressure (pump). It is still in development, but has possible applications in fields requiring oil, fuel or water pumps, as well as pumps for non-abrasive fluids when moderate or high pressure is required. For instance: Hydraulics, fluid and gas transport systems, presses, fuel injection, irrigation, heating systems, hydraulic lifts, water jet engines, hydro- and pneumatic engines, and medical pumps.Schapiro, B., "The RKM Rotary Piston Maschines" In: Vernetzte Wissenschaften, Eds: Peter Jörg Plath und Ernst-Christoph Haß, Logos Verlag, Berlin 2008 The machine's inventor is Boris I. Schapiro, along with co-inventors Lev B. Levitin and Naum Kruk. Design All versions of the RKM incorporate a working chamber formed by smoothly conjugated circular arcs. The piston, shaped to confo ...
