Quo Vado
''Quo vado?'' () is a 2016 Italian comedy film directed by Gennaro Nunziante. It was released on 1 January 2016. The film is the highest-grossing Italian film in Italy. Plot Checco was born into a life of relative comfort and privilege among his peers in a small town of southern Italy. He is one of the lucky few to have a ''posto fisso,'' or guaranteed job as a public servant. When a new reformist government vows to cut down on bureaucracy, Checco is forced to accept ever-worsening public-sector postings in order to maintain his guaranteed pay, benefits, and lifetime employment and continue to put in little effort and accept bribes. Gennaro Nunziante is an Italian film director. He directed the three highest-grossing Italian films in Italy headed by ''Quo Vado?''. Career He teamed up with Checco Zalone to write '' Cado dalle nubi'' (2009), with Zalone starring and Nunziante directing. They followed it up in 2011 with '' Che bella giornata''. It opened with a record Italian opening weekend of $9.4 million and became the highest-grossing Italian film of all-time in Italy, grossing €43.4 million, surpassing Roberto Benigni's ''Life Is Beautiful''. Ludovica Modugno
Ludovica Modugno (12 January 1949 – 26 October 2021) was an Italian actress and voice actress. Biography Modugno was born in Rome on 12 January 1949. She made her debut at the age of four in the film ''Il Dottor Antonio''. She debuted in dubbing in 1955 with the film ''Miracle of Marcelino''. In 1978, she founded the theatre company ''L'albero'' alongside Gigi Angelillo. In 2008, she won the best theatre actress prize from the Associazione Nazionale Critici di Teatro. As a voice actress, she is the regular dubbing voice of Glenn Close. Modugno was the sister of actor and radio host and the wife of actor and director Gigi Angelillo. Death Modugno died in Rome on 26 October 2021, at the age of 72, due to complications from an illness that struck her in June.
