Queen Elizabeth is a mostly residential neighbourhood located in south-central Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is a suburban subdivision, consisting mostly of low-density, single detached dwellings. As of 2007, the area is home to 2,491 residents. The neighbourhood is considered a middle-income area, with an average family income of $61,904, an average dwelling value of $280,970 and a home ownership rate of 66.9%. History The land for the neighbourhood was annexed by the city between 1910 and 1919. A 1913 map shows that the present-day Queen Elizabeth area overlaps two registered subdivisions of the day: the G.T.P. 1/4 Section in the west, and part of the Broadway Addition in the east. Aden Bowman Collegiate
Aden Bowman Collegiate is in the Queen Elizabeth subdivision, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, serving students from grades 9 through 12. It is also known as Aden Bowman, Bowman, or ABCI. The school was opened on September 2, 1958. Aden Bowman is known for the IB program and its fine arts program. Fine arts Aden Bowman is home of the Robert Hinitt or 'Castle' Theatre. The theatre, designed by a former teacher, includes a fly tower, a thrust stage and seating for about 600 people. Renovations occurred in the late 1990s which improved but altered the look of the original design of the theatre. Saskatoon Eastview is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada.
