Panorama (Italian Magazine)
''Panorama'' is a weekly Italian-language news magazine published in Italy and based in Milan. History and overview ''Panorama'' was founded in Milan in 1939. The magazine was temporarily closed by the Fascist rule in December 1940 due to the publication of the translated texts by Ada Prospero. It was relaunched by Italian publisher Arnoldo Mondadori in cooperation with the American Time Inc. group in Milan in October 1962. The magazine came out biweekly in the initial period. Ownership The magazine is owned and published by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, the largest Italian publishing house. The company is controlled by Fininvest, a financial holding company controlled by the family of Silvio Berlusconi, Italian prime minister until November 2011. ''Ezio Mauro'' (born 24 October 1948) is an Italian journalist. He was editor-in-chief of the newspaper la Repubblica from 1996 to 2016. Biography Mauro was born in Dronero, Italy. Maurizio Belpietro (born 10 May 1958) is an Italian journalist and television presenter. Biography Belpietro was born in Castenedolo, near Brescia, but he grew up in the town of Palazzolo sull'Oglio. Vittorio Umberto Antonio Maria Sgarbi (born 8 May 1952 in Ferrara) is an Italian art critic, art historian, writer, politician, cultural commentator and television personality. As a correspondent and freelance journalist, he witnessed conflicts from the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan to the Balkans and Africa. Most recently he reported from Iraq and the Middle East.
