Dhimitër Anagnosti
Dhimitër Anagnosti (born 23 January 1936) is an Albanian film director and politician. He was a member of the Parliament of Albania in the 1990s and a Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. For his contribution in film, he received the People's Artist of Albania medal. In 2011, former president Bamir Topi accredited him the "Honor of the Nation" order, . Early life Anagnosti was born on 23 January 1936, in Vuno. After graduating the '' Ali Demi'' high school in Vlorë, he pursued his studies and graduated as a film director in Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography of Moscow. In 1961, along with Viktor Gjika, Anagnosti directed the film, ''Njeriu kurrë nuk vdes'' (), using as a script a short story from American writer, Ernest Hemingway. The work earned him First Prize in the World's Festival of Cinematographic Schools, in the Netherlands. Andon Zako Çajupi
Andon Zako Çajupi (27 March 186611 July 1930) was an Albanian lawyer, playwright, poet and rilindas. Biography He was born in the village of Sheper, Upper Zagoria, Albania, then Ottoman Empire, on 27 March 1866. Çajupi's father, Harito Zako, was a tobacco merchant, with a business extending throughout the then-Ottoman Empire and also into Italy and other parts of western Europe. Çajupi's elementary education was undertaken at the nearest Greek elementary school. In 1882, he moved to Alexandria, where he studied French for five years at ''Sainte Catherine des Lazaristes''. During his time in Alexandria, Çajupi met several western European lawyers representing businesses in Egypt. These meetings convinced him to study law in Switzerland, and in 1887, Çajupi arrived in Geneva, where he studied law for five years. Robert Ndrenika
Robert Ndrenika (born 10 January 1942) is an Albanian actor, honored with the People's Artist of Albania award in 1988. He was active in films, but also in theater and television performing hundreds of leading and Supporting role, supporting roles. Biography Ndrenika studied at the Qemal Stafa High School, in Tirana, Albania. Ndrenika was a member of Parliament of Albania from 1992–1996, representing the Democratic Party of Albania. In 1998, Ndrenika was honoured with People's Artist of Albania decoration, becoming one of the few actors to have this decoration. In 2012, Ndrenika was decorated with Honor of Nation Order by president Bamir Topi for his contributions in Albanian cinematography. Ndrenika has two daughters. His wife Polikseni Ndrenika, died in 2008. The loss of his wife kept Ndrenika away from acting for the next four years. He returned on stage in April 2012. The National Center of Cinematography () is the largest film distributor and film production company in the cinema of Albania connected with over 700 films (feature films and documentaries) between 1947 and 2012. The studio has produced and distributed the vast majority of Albanian films. Especially important was its work in the 1970s and 1980s when the studio averaged 75–80 movies per year.
