Proton Saga (first Generation)
The first generation Proton Saga was the first automobile produced by Malaysian automobile manufacturer, PROTON Holdings, Proton. It was based on the 1983 Mitsubishi Mirage#1983, Mitsubishi Lancer Fiore as a result of a joint venture between DRB-HICOM, HICOM and Mitsubishi. The Proton Saga was officially launched on 9 July 1985 by the fourth prime minister, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. It was produced in both 4-door saloon and 5-door hatchback styles. The first generation Proton Saga was the longest produced Proton model, having been in production for over 22 consecutive years until it was finally succeeded by the Proton Saga (second generation), second generation Saga in early 2008. The is a group of autonomous Japanese multinational companies in a variety of industries. Founded by Yatarō Iwasaki in 1870, the Mitsubishi Group traces its origins to the Mitsubishi zaibatsu, a unified company that existed from 1870 to 1946. New Straits Times
The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as a local offshoot of Singapore-based ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845. A straight-four engine (also referred to as an inline-four engine) is a four-cylinder piston engine where cylinders are arranged in a line along a common crankshaft.
