Preston railway station is a commuter railway station located in the north-eastern suburb of Preston, Victoria, Preston in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The station opened on 8 October 1889, with the former ground level station closed and demolished in May 2022 and the current Elevated railway, elevated station provided in September 2022 by the Level Crossing Removal Project. The station was renamed two times, which it initially opened as Preston-Murray Road upon its opening in 1889. It was renamed to Murray on 1 August 1905, then was given its current name of "Preston" on 1 December 1909. Prince Edward is a MTR station on the Tsuen Wan line. It is located under the intersection of Nathan Road and Prince Edward Road West, after which it is named. History Prince Edward was primarily designed as a cross-platform interchange between the Kwun Tong and s. While the Kwun Tong line tracks had already been built in 1979, the station was not used until the opening of the Tsuen Wan line on 10 May 1982. Steve Prefontaine
Steve Roland Prefontaine (January 25, 1951 – May 30, 1975) was an American long-distance runner who from 1973 to 1975 set American records at every distance from 2,000 to 10,000 meters. He competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics, and he was preparing for the 1976 Olympics with the Oregon Track Club at the time of his death in 1975. Prefontaine's career, alongside those of Jim Ryun, Frank Shorter, and Bill Rodgers, generated considerable media coverage, which helped inspire the 1970s "running boom". He was killed in an automobile crash near his residence in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 24. One of the premier track meets in the world, the Prefontaine Classic, is held annually in Eugene in his honor. Public Radio East
Public Radio East is the NPR member regional network for northeastern North Carolina. It is a service of Craven Community College in New Bern, with studios in Barker Hall on the college's campus. The network's original station, WTEB in New Bern, was launched June 4, 1984, on the frequency 89.5, at 66 kW. Its call sign contains the initials of Thurman Elwood Brock, Craven Community College's founding president. Later the station moved to 89.3 and increased power to 100 kW. The station has won many awards, including outstanding news operation from the Associated Press. During the 1990s, it added two full-time stations--WKNS Kinston at 90.3 and WBJD Atlantic Beach (serving Morehead City) at 91.5. It also added a low-powered translator in Greenville at 88.1, W201AO; now W210CF at 89.9 MHz, the translator is officially a repeater of WTEB. Thebe Neruda Kgositsile (born February 24, 1994), known professionally as Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper and record producer. Kgositsile was originally known by the moniker Sly Tendencies when he began rapping in 2008, but changed his name when Tyler, the Creator invited him to join his alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in late 2009. He is the son of South African political poet Keorapetse Kgositsile. At the age of 16, he gained recognition and critical praise for his second mixtape, ''Earl'' (2010). Shortly after its release, he was sent to a boarding school in Samoa for at-risk teens by his mother, which he attended for a year and a half. The term microphone preamplifier can either refer to the electronic circuitry within a microphone, or to a separate device or circuit that the microphone is connected to. In either instance, the purpose of the microphone preamplifier is the same. A microphone preamplifier is a sound engineering device that prepares a microphone signal to be processed by other equipment. Microphone signals are often too weak to be transmitted to units such as mixing consoles and recording devices with adequate quality. In compiler theory, partial redundancy elimination (PRE) is a compiler optimization that eliminates expressions that are redundant on some but not necessarily all paths through a program. PRE is a form of common subexpression elimination. An expression is called partially redundant if the value computed by the expression is already available on some but not all paths through a program to that expression.
