Pont De Sèvres Station
Pont de Sèvres station () is a station of the Paris Métro on Line 9, serving as its western terminus. It is located near the Pont de Sèvres, which is a bridge on the Seine connecting to Sèvres. History The station opened on 3 February 1934 with the extension from Porte de Saint-Cloud station. It was the first extension of the métro network beyond the limits of Paris. Hence, it is one of the first three stations to provide service to the inner suburbs of Paris (along with ''Billancourt'' and ''Marcel Sembat''). In 1943, during an Allied air raid aimed at destroying the Renault factories at Boulogne-Billancourt (on Seguin Island), the bombs missed their targets and caused 300 deaths, including 80 around the station, partially destroying it. In 2017, construction started on line 15's station and is expected to open in 2026 as part of the Grand Paris Express project and is currently projected to open in late 2026 as of August 2021. MF 01
The MF 01 (; ; also called MF 2000 from its year of its invitation to tender) is a model of steel-wheeled electrical multiple units used on Paris's Paris Métro, Metro system. The cars first arrived in December 2007 and delivery was completed in 2015. Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens, RATP ordered 160 trains or 800 cars in 2001, to replace the aging MF 67. It is used on Paris Métro Line 2, Line 2, Paris Métro Line 5, Line 5, and Paris Métro Line 9, Line 9. The MF 01 was first introduced to the press on 17 June 2005 but it would not be until January 2006 that the first trains would undergo testing on the system. Commercial service on Line 2 began on 11 June 2008, with all of Line 2 being equipped with the new rolling stock by March 2011. Île Seguin (, ''Seguin Island'') is an island on the Seine river between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sèvres, in the west suburbs of Paris, France. It has a surface area of approximately 11.5 hectares (28 acres), and is positioned opposite Meudon, a short distance downstream from the Île Saint-Germain. Administratively Meudon and the island are included as part of Boulogne-Billancourt, on the river's right bank, rather than of Sèvres on the left bank. During most of the twentieth century, Île Seguin was home to a Renault factory, covering virtually the whole island. The last car from the Renault production line was a 1992 Renault 5 Supercinq. The factory remained dormant until 2005 when all the buildings were demolished. The architect Jean Nouvel was appointed in 2009 as the lead planner to transform the island into a new cultural hub. The Pavillon de Breteuil () is a building in the southeastern section of the Parc de Saint-Cloud in Saint-Cloud, France, to the southwest of Paris. The Parc de Saint-Cloud (; Park of Saint-Cloud), officially the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud (; National Estate of Saint-Cloud), is a ''domaine national'' (national estate) located mostly within the Saint-Cloud commune, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, southwest of Paris, France. The park, which covers , was a nature reserve on the left bank of the Seine until 1923. It was centred around the former Château de Saint-Cloud, home of Philippe I, Duke of Orléans (1640–1701), which was destroyed by French bombing in 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War after the Prussians had made a base of it. Noctilien is the night bus service in Paris and its agglomeration. It is managed by the Île-de-France Mobilités (formerly the STIF), the Île-de-France regional public transit authority, and operated by RATP (with 32 lines) and Transilien SNCF (with 21 lines). It replaced the previous '' Noctambus'' service on the night of 20/21 September 2005, providing for a larger number of lines than before and claiming to be better adapted to night-time transport needs.
