Chaudhary
Chowdhury (also: Choudhuri, Chaudhuri, Choudhury, Chaudhri, Chaudhary) is a title of honour, usually hereditary, originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is an adaption from Sanskrit. During the Mughal rule, it was a title awarded to eminent people, while during British rule, the term was associated with zamindars and social leaders. The common female equivalent was Chowdhurani. Meaning "Chowdhury" is a term adapted from the Sanskrit words ''čatus'' "four-way, all-round" and ''dhurīya'' "undertaking a burden", denoting the head of a community or caste. Significance It was a title awarded to persons of eminence, including both Muslims and Hindus, during the Mughal Empire. Oudh State
The Kingdom of Awadh (, , also Oudh State, Kingdom of Oudh, Awadh Subah, or Awadh State) was a Mughal subah, then an independent kingdom, and lastly a British protectorate in the Awadh region of North India until its annexation by the British East India Company in 1856. The name Oudh, now obsolete, was once the anglicized name of the state, also written historically as Oudhe. Jansatta Dal (Loktantrik) is a political party in Uttar Pradesh, India, launched by Raghuraj Pratap Singh, commonly known as Raja Bhaiya, in November 2018 at Ramabai Park, Lucknow, during a rally marking his 25 years in politics and after taking feedback from his electorate who overwhelmingly supported for forming a new party. The party has raised the issues related to caste-based preferences in election and stands against Casteism in Politics. The party has also raised issues regarding disparity in the reservation system and SC/ST act to non-Dalits, in education and employment.
