Piaggio Fly
The Piaggio Fly is a scooter produced by italian motorcycle manufacturer Piaggio from 2004 to 2017 to replace the Sfera and Skipper models. It was also sold by the Spanish company Derbi (controlled by the Piaggio Group) under the name Derbi Boulevard. In the Chinese market it was introduced in 2005 and is currently in production renamed Piaggio City Fly equipped with a 150 four-stroke Piaggio Leader engine. First series (2004–2012) Launched on the market in November 2004, the Fly is a compact low-wheeled scooter developed by Piaggio to be sold globally: production takes place in the Pontedera plants for the European and North American market, while the following year the production in China at the Zongshen-Piaggio Foshan plant to be sold on the Asian market. Derbi
Derbi is a manufacturer of motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and recreational all-terrain vehicles produced by Nacional Motor S.A.U., currently integrated into the Italian (2009) Piaggio Group. History Derbi's origins began with a little bicycle workshop in the village of Mollet near Barcelona, founded in 1922 by Simeó Rabasa i Singla (1901–1988). The focus remained the repair and hire of bicycles until May 1944 when Rabasa formed a limited liability company named Bicycletas Rabasa with the aim of moving into manufacturing bicycles. A four-stroke (also four-cycle) engine is an internal combustion (IC) engine in which the piston completes four separate strokes while turning the crankshaft. A stroke refers to the full travel of the piston along the cylinder, in either direction. The four separate strokes are termed: #Intake: Also known as induction or suction. Two-stroke Engine
A two-stroke (or two-stroke cycle) engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a Thermodynamic power cycle, power cycle with two strokes of the piston, one up and one down, in one revolution of the crankshaft in contrast to a four-stroke engine which requires four strokes of the piston in two crankshaft revolutions to complete a power cycle. Piaggio Beverly
The Piaggio Beverly is a scooter produced by the Italian vehicle manufacturer Piaggio. Model history Introduced in 2001, the Piaggio Beverly has been produced in engine sizes ranging from 125 to 500 cc. Early models were powered by Piaggio's water-cooled L.E.A.D.E.R. engine. In 2005 models with 250 cm3 and 500 cm3 displacement were also presented and the engine range was subsequently expanded to 300 cm3, 350 cm3 and 400 cm3 displacement.
