Persib Bandung
Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung (), also known in acronym as Persib (), is an Indonesian professional football club based in Bandung, West Java. The club competes in the Liga 1, the top tier of Indonesian football. Founded in 1919 as (BIVB), it officially changed to its current name in 1933. The team is also known by its nicknames (Blue Prince) and (Bandung Tigers). Their home stadium is Gelora Bandung Lautan Api, which has a capacity of 38,000. The club has won two Liga 1 titles back to back, in 2023–24, and 2024–25. Before the current league format, Persib won the 2014 Indonesia Super League, 1994–95 Liga Indonesia Premier Division title, and five Perserikatan titles. All of Persib's top-flight league titles were achieved from a tournament format, except for the most recent in which they clinched their first full-season league format championship. Javan Tiger
The Javan tiger was a ''Panthera tigris sondaica'' population native to the Indonesian island of Java. It was one of the three tiger populations that colonized the Sunda Islands during the last glacial period 110,000–12,000 years ago. It used to inhabit most of Java, but its natural habitat decreased continuously due to conversion for agricultural land use and infrastructure. By 1940, it had retreated to remote montane and forested areas. Since no evidence of a Javan tiger was found during several studies in the 1980s and 1990s, it was assessed as being extinct in 2008. Taxonomy ''Felis tigris sondaicus'' was proposed by Coenraad Jacob Temminck in 1844 as a Binomial nomenclature, scientific name for the Javan tiger. 2014 Indonesia Super League
The 2014 Indonesia Super League was the 6th season of the Indonesia Super League (ISL), a fully professional football competition as the top tier of the football league pyramid in Indonesia. The season was scheduled to begin in January 2014, but in the end PSSI decided that the competition would begin on 1 February 2014 and possibly end on 7 November 2014. Competition schedule was released on 17 January 2014 by PT Liga Indonesia in Jakarta. Persipura were the defending champions, having won their fourth league title in 2013. This season saw the merging of the ISL with the Indonesian Premier League (IPL) after three years of dualism. Robby Darwis
Robby Darwis (born 30 October 1964) is an Indonesian former professional football player and current coach. He is the technical director for PSKC Cimahi, and one of Persib Bandung stars of his generation. Darwis's position was a defender. In the first season of Liga Indonesia, as captain he brought Persib to championship. Darwis has also played in Malaysia Super League, at Kelantan FA. For Indonesia national football team, he played for 10 years (1987–1997), with 53 caps and 6 goals. Playing career Darwis started his career as a teenage at local football club Arjuna and SSB Capella. Initially, he played as a forward or attacking midfielder. The Aga Khan Gold Cup was a tournament played in Dhaka, Bangladesh which invited the club sides from leading football nations of Asia to compete.
