People's Labour Party (Cuba)
The People's Labour Party () was a short-lived political party in Cuba. It appeared in public with its programme in August 1901. The party was a continuation of the People's Party of Diego Vicente Tejera. However, it appears that Diego Vicente Tejera had no links to the People's Labour Party. Overview The statues and programmes of the party were edited by a commission consisting of Cristóbal de la Guardia, Joaquín Alba and Manuel Cendoya. People's Labour Party (Papua New Guinea)
The People's Labour Party is a political party in Papua New Guinea. History It was founded in April 2001 by Madang businessman and former MP Peter Yama, who sought a return to politics after having lost his seat at the 1997 election. He pledged that, if the party formed the next government, it would give ten percent of the national budget to churches to assist young people, stating that "PNG proclaimed itself to be a Christian country but the Government had not made that a reality." He also pledged to fight corruption and to investigate a number of past financial deals involving the national government. The party won four seats at the 2002 election: Yama (Usino-Bundi Open), Yuntavi Bao (Kainantu Open), Miki Kaeok (Wapenamanda Open) and Ekis Ropenu (Kerema Open). The People's Labour Party (PLP) is a political party in Saint Kitts and Nevis led by Timothy Harris. Despite only winning a single seat in the 2015 Saint Kitts and Nevis general election, 2015 general elections, Harris became the third Prime Minister of the country following the elections. The party increased its number of seats in the National Assembly to two in the 2020 Saint Kitts and Nevis general election, 2020 general elections, with Harris remaining Prime Minister. The People's Labour Party (, HEP), sometimes translated as the People's Work Party, was a pro-Kurdish political party in Turkey. The party was founded in 1995 by four Labour Party (UK), Labour Party borough councillors who had been suspended from Labour for opposing a reduction in the housing budget. Laboring People's Party
The Laboring People's Party () of Korea was a centre-left to left-wing political party in South Korea and North Korea. Under the leadership of Lee Yong, the party continued to operate in North Korea where it participated in elections. It won seats in the Supreme People's Assembly at least in 1957.
