Pekka and Pätkä as Park Nannies () is the fourth film in the Pekka Puupää series, directed by Armand Lohikoski and released in 1955. Plot Pekka and Pätkä find themselves in one mishap after another. They try several jobs including car repair, gardening, painting, and store clerking. Notably, they dress as women to work as park attendants, giving the film its name. Armand Lohikoski
Armand Uolevi Lohikoski (January 3, 1912 – March 20, 2005) was a Finnish movie director and writer. He is best known as a director of a number of '' Pekka ja Pätkä'' movies. Career Before his career as a film director Armand Lohikoski had a long career in the media industry. He was, among other occupations, a journalist, a division director in the Finnish Broadcasting Company (where he produced the first radio quiz in Finland), and a head of the Helsinki office of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Films. He was also the first to publish free newspapers in Finland. Armand Lohikoski directed 18 long movies for the major Finnish movie production company Suomen Filmiteollisuus. In addition, he directed many short films and commercials. Both before and during his directing career, he took part in acting. He acted in some of his own films. Olavi Virta (originally until 1926 Oskari Olavi Ilmén; 27 February 1915 – 14 July 1972) was a Finnish singer, acclaimed during his time as the "King" of Finnish tango. Jätkäsaari (; ) is a peninsula and a Subdivisions of Helsinki#Neighbourhoods, quarter in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. It is part to the Kampinmalmi district and Länsisatama neighbourhood. Eira is a neighborhood in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Kumpula
Kumpula () is a verdant neighbourhood in Helsinki, bordered by Eastern Pasila to the west, Vallila to the south, Käpylä and Koskela to the north and Toukola and Arabianranta to the east. As of January 1, 2003, Kumpula had approximately 3,600 inhabitants. The name Gumteckt or Gumtäckt appears already in documents from the 15th century. Pekka and Pätkä on the Trail of the Snowman () is a 1954 Finnish film directed by Armand Lohikoski. It is the third installment in the thirteen-film ''Pekka Puupää'' series. The film, co-written by Lohikoski and Reino Helismaa, marks the first time the character Pätkä appears in the film's title. However, according to Lohikoski, Helismaa had no involvement in this or some other ''Pekka ja Pätkä'' films. The film was shot in Kilpisjärvi. Cast members have stated that the idea of the Yeti came from a newspaper article.
