Paul Reynolds (born 6 February 1970) is an English actor, his roles include portraying Colin Mathews in ''Press Gang'' (1989–1993), Kelvin Raine in ''Maisie Raine'' (1998) and convicted police murderer Chris Craig in ''Let Him Have It'' (1991). Early life Reynolds was born in Wanstead, London, and attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School. Career Reynolds' breakthrough role on television came playing Thatcherite Colin Mathews in the BAFTA award-winning ITV series ''Press Gang''. His career continued with the roles of Kevin in '' The Ghostbusters of East Finchley'', and Sammy Dobbs, the unscrupulous sports agent, in Andy Hamilton's ''Trevor's World of Sport''. Paul Reynolds (BBC Journalist)
Christopher Paul Michel Reynolds (born 23 February 1946) is a former BBC foreign correspondent. He was educated at Ardingly College and Worcester College, Oxford. He joined the BBC in Norwich in 1968, moving to BBC Radio News in London in 1970, at first as a sub-editor in the Radio Newsroom and subsequently as a reporter. From 1978 to 1987, he was BBC correspondent in New York, Brussels, and Jerusalem. From 1987 to 1995 he was BBC Radio's Diplomatic and Royal Correspondent, continuing as Royal Correspondent until 1998. From 1998 to 2001, he was a BBC Washington Correspondent. He worked as World Affairs Correspondent for BBC News Online from 2002 to 2011, when he retired from the BBC. Paul Séamus Reynolds (4 October 1949 – 23 May 2010) was a New Zealand internet advocate in the cultural sector. He was an early advocate of IT systems and the Internet in the cultural sector in New Zealand. Biography Born in Scotland on 4 October 1949, Reynolds studied at the Middlesex University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, BA in the history of ideas in 1983. He then completed an Master of Arts, MA in social and political thought at the University of Sussex in 1988. Reynolds moved to Auckland, working part-time in a Parnell bookshop and becoming a book reviewer. He founded McGovern Online, an internet consulting company, with his wife, Helen Smith, in 1995. Paul Reynolds (musician)
Paul Reynolds (born 4 August 1962) is an English singer, songwriter and musician who gained worldwide fame as the lead guitarist of the new wave band A Flock of Seagulls. AllMusic writer Tom Demalon praised Reynolds for his unique guitar style, which set his band apart from other synth-heavy acts of the time. Early life Paul Reynolds was born in Liverpool, England. In his teens, Reynolds always enjoyed playing the guitar, but in his spare time he enjoyed writing, drawing and was also an amateur photographer. Career He briefly joined a local Liverpool band called Visual Aids. Then at the age of 17, he joined the new wave band A Flock of Seagulls, a few months after the band was formed, and came to replace the original guitarist Willie Woo. Paul Reynolds (umpire)
Paul Reynolds (23 May 1973 – 17 October 2023) was an English cricket umpire representing Ireland. In November 2016, he was named the Official of the Year at the Cricket Ireland Awards. In June 2018, he was appointed to the International Panel of Umpires and Referees. Reynolds stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I), between Ireland and Afghanistan, on 22 August 2018. His One Day International (ODI) umpiring debut match was also between Ireland and Afghanistan, on 29 August 2018. In April 2019, he was one of four umpires to be awarded a full-time season contract by Cricket Ireland, the first time that Cricket Ireland had offered such contracts to umpires. Death Reynolds died on 17 October 2023, at the age of 50 following prolonged illness.
