Patrick O'Neill (politician)
Patrick O'Neill (1875 – 2 February 1938) was an Irish nationalist politician and hotel proprietor. Life Patrick O'Neill was born in Annaghmore, County Armagh, Ireland, in 1875. He married Mary (Minnie) McConville in 1903 in Portadown, County Armagh, and they moved to Warrenpoint, County Down, where he became the proprietor of the Victoria Hotel. They had five children: Mary Theresa (Molly), Harry Gerard, Bernard, Patrick, and Nora. Mary died (likely in childbirth) in 1911. In 1913, O'Neill married Brigid Smith in Moynalvey, County Meath, and they had four children: Brigid (Dolie), Jim, Teresa V. and Nuala. O'Neill and his family lived at the Crown Hotel in Warrenpoint, which he purchased in 1913. He died in 1938 in Warrenpoint. Thomas McMullan
Sir Thomas Wallace McMullan (1864–1945) was a Northern Ireland businessman and politician. Life Born 3 October 1864, he was the son of Thomas McMullan of Belfast and his wife Susan, daughter of David McMullan. He was educated at Methodist College Belfast and Queen's College. He went into business, becoming managing director and chairman of a wholesale grocers, Thomas McMullan Co. Ltd. of Belfast. In 1921 McMullan, who was president of the Ulster Liberal Unionist Association, was elected as Ulster Unionist Party candidate to the Down constituency, retiring from politics and giving up his seat in 1929. Robert McBride (1856–26 November 1934) was a unionist politician in Northern Ireland. Biography McBride worked as a farmer, and with textiles. He was also a lay preacher with the Church of Ireland. He joined the Ulster Unionist Party and was elected in Down at the 1921 Northern Ireland general election. He held the seat in 1925, and won West Down at the 1929 general election.
