Patrick O'Leary (writer)
Patrick O'Leary (born September 13, 1952) is an American writer. Life and work Born on September 13, 1952, in Saginaw, Michigan, O'Leary's literary works have been recognized and highlighted at Michigan State University in their Michigan Writers Series. He wrote the poem "Nobody Knows It But Me" which was used in the popular 2002 advertising campaign for the Chevrolet Tahoe and read in the commercial by James Garner. Saginaw, Michigan
Saginaw () is a city in Saginaw County, Michigan, United States, and its county seat. It had a population of 44,202 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. Located along the Saginaw River, Saginaw is adjacent to Saginaw Charter Township, Michigan, Saginaw Charter Township and considered part of Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City metropolitan area, Greater Tri-Cities region of Central Michigan. The Saginaw Metropolitan statistical area, metropolitan area had a population of 190,124 in 2020, while the Tri-Cities area had 377,474 residents. Established as a fort following the 1819 Treaty of Saginaw, Saginaw was a thriving lumber town in the 19th century. Chevrolet Tahoe
The Chevrolet Tahoe (), and its Rebadging, badge-engineered GMC Yukon counterpart, are full-size SUVs and other trucks from General Motors, offered since 1994 and 1991, respectively. Since 1982, Chevrolet and GMC (General Motors division), GMC sold two different-sized SUVs under their "Blazer" and "Jimmy" nameplates, by introducing the smaller Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, S-10 Blazer and GMC S-15 Jimmy for the 1983 model year, below the Chevrolet K5 Blazer, full-size Blazer and Jimmy models. This situation lasted into the early 1990s. GMC first rebadged the full-size Jimmy as the "Yukon" in 1991. Chevrolet however waited until 1994, when they rebadged the redesigned mid-size S-10 Blazer the "new Blazer," while renaming the full-size Blazer as the "Tahoe." The name Tahoe refers to the rugged and scenic area surrounding Lake Tahoe in the western United States, and was originally used as a trim level on S-10 models.
