Patrick Roberto Daniel da Silva commonly known as Patrick (born 26 March 1985) is a Brazilian footballer plays for Liga Futebol Timor-Leste club Karketu Dili. Career Patrick played in the youth academies of Portuguesa and São Paulo before he began his professional career in 2003 with Vitória. In the summer of 2004, he moved to Mexican club Altamira, but returned to Brazil in early 2005 and first played for Mogi Mirim. In the course of the year, he moved to Grêmio Barueri and played there until 2007. After a short stay at Nacional, he moved to the Australian A-League for Sydney FC in August 2007. At Sydney, Patrick played alongside his compatriot Juninho Paulista and scored two goals in eight appearances under manager Branko Čulina at the start of the season. After Čulina's dismissal in October 2007, he lost his position in the team under his successor John Kosmina and only made a brief appearance in the play-off semifinals against Queensland Roar in late January 2008. ... Brisbane Roar Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Brisbane, Queensland. competing in Australia's premier men's competition, A-League Men, which is the top tier Australia's football pyramid. John Kosmina
Alexander John Kosmina (born 17 August 1956), known as John Kosmina, is an Australian former football (soccer) player and manager, most recently being the Senior Head Coach of Brisbane Strikers. He is a member of the Football Federation Australia Football Hall of Fame. Career Kosmina's father was from Poland and came to Australia after World War II. Kosmina's family lived in Port Adelaide, in a heavily Polish community. Kosmina was pushed into football by his father who worked in football. Kosmina is of Polish Australian ethnicity. He played for Polonia and then West Adelaide. The move offended some people in the community but Kosmina had wanted to play at a higher level. He then played for the English club, Arsenal in February 1978. Branko Culina (; born 1 October 1957) is a soccer coach and former player. He previously managed Sydney FC and the Newcastle Jets in the A-League. Playing career Culina was born in Zadar, Socialist Republic of Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia and emigrated to Australia with his mother in 1968, at the age of 10, settling in Melbourne's Croatian community. His senior playing career began with St. Albans Saints where he captained the senior team at the age of 15. Liga-Futebol Timor Leste is the overall competition featuring football clubs from Timor Leste. Sanctioned by the Football Federation of Timor-Leste (FFTL). The competition consists of two main divisions, the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão, however has previously featured a promotion playoff to the Segunda Divisão in 2017, and a third division in 2019. The league has previously featured associated women's competitions in the Liga Feto Timor. In 2020 the competition was renamed from the Liga Futebol Amadora to the Liga Futebol Timor-Leste. In 2020, the winner of the previous Premeria Divisão was able to represent Timor Leste in the AFC Cup. In 2020 the competition was cancelled due to the covid pandemic and was replaced by the COPA FFTL.
