Pat O'Brien (guitarist)
Pat O'Brien (born May 17, 1965) is an American musician best known as the former lead guitarist for death metal band Cannibal Corpse. He is also a former member of heavy metal band Nevermore, a former live guitarist for Slayer, and is currently the lead guitarist for Exhorder. Biography was born in Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky, in 1983 and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. His hobbies involve music and hunting. got his first guitar when he was 11. His mother bought him an acoustic guitar for Christmas. Later, when he started to practice more he received his first electric guitar, a Gibson SG copy (due to his adoration of AC/DC guitarist Angus Young). His father also bought him a 1974 Gibson Flying V. His influences include AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Mercyful Fate and Metallica. Monstrosity is an American death metal band formed in 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The band's original lineup included George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, who found greater success in 1995 after becoming the current frontman of Cannibal Corpse. ''Nevermore'' is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Nevermore, released on February 14, 1995, by Century Media Records. It was singer Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard's first release after disbanding their previous band, Sanctuary, in 1992. Having recruited drummer Van Williams and former Sanctuary touring guitarist Jeff Loomis, they formed the band Nevermore and began anew. This was Nevermore's first and only album to feature original drummer Mark Arrington. Despite not being credited as the drummer on the album, he did play on half of the tracks. A music video was produced for the song "What Tomorrow Knows". Nevermore is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1992. The band was formed after three of its members — vocalist Warrel Dane, bassist Jim Sheppard and guitarist Jeff Loomis — ended their previous band Sanctuary (band), Sanctuary, and had several drummers before hiring Van Williams (musician), Van Williams in 1994. Nevermore has experienced numerous lineup changes, and as of 2024, Loomis is the only remaining original member. Andrés Segovia Torres, 1st Marquis of Salobreña (21 February 1893 – 2 June 1987), was a Spanish virtuoso classical guitarist.
