The Andalusian Party (, PA) was an Andalusian nationalism, Andalusian nationalist centre-left political party from Andalusia (Spain), with an important presence in provinces such as Cádiz (province), Cádiz and Seville (province), Seville although in the past they have stood in other provinces and even won seats in Barcelona to the Parliament of Catalonia. History The party was founded as the Socialist Alliance of Andalusia () in 1965 by Alejandro Rojas-Marcos. In 1976 it took the name Socialist Party of Andalusia (). In 1979 the name was changed to Socialist Party of Andalusia - Andalusian Party (). The PA party name was adopted in 1984. Its last Secretary-General was Antonio Jesús Ruiz. Luis Uruñuela
Luis Uruñuela Fernández (born 2 April 1937) is a Spanish former politician of the Andalusian Party (PA). He was elected to the Congress of Deputies in 1979, serving for only two months before leaving to be the first democratically elected mayor of Seville. Uruñuela was a proponent of the Seville Metro, which saw much construction during his mandate. The 1982 Andalusian regional election was held on Sunday, 23 May 1982, to elect the 1st Parliament of the autonomous community of Andalusia. All 109 seats in the Parliament were up for election.
