Paris Métro Line 10
Paris Métro Line 10 is one of 16 metro lines in Paris, France. The line links the Boulogne – Pont de Saint Cloud metro station in Boulogne in the west with the Gare d'Austerlitz, travelling under the neighborhoods situated on the Rive Gauche in the southern half of Paris and the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt. Its two termini are Gare d'Austerlitz and Boulogne – Pont de Saint-Cloud. The line is entirely underground and stretches across 23 stations. It has the least traffic of any of the 14 main metro lines (excluding lines 3bis and 7bis). Initially, the MA 51 model trains, which had previously been used on line 13 until it joined line 14, circulated the tracks of line 10. Mirabeau (Paris Métro)
Mirabeau () is a rapid transit station on Line 10 of the Paris Métro system. Located in the 16th arrondissement of the city, it is served solely by eastbound trains to Gare d'Austerlitz. It is located in close proximity to Église d'Auteuil (with their accesses are less than 100 m apart), and as such, the two stations can be considered twins, with ''Mirabeau'' serving eastbound traffic and ''Église d'Auteuil'' serving westbound traffic, albeit with separate entrances and exits. The station is named after the nearby rue Mirabeau, of which it runs under. It was in turn named after Honoré Gabriel Riqueti, the Count of Mirabeau, a leader during the early stages of the French Revolution. The station is near pont Mirabeau. Paris Métro Line 13 (opened as Line B; French: ''Ligne 13 du métro de Paris'') is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris Métro. It was built by the Nord-Sud Company before becoming Line 13 when the Nord-Sud was merged into the Compagnie du chemin de fer métropolitain de Paris (CMP) in 1930. Line 13 was extended in 1976 to reach the northern end of Line 14, which was then absorbed into it. The number 14 was eventually reused for a new line in 1998. Line 13 was once planned to be replaced by a north–south RER line, but this was cancelled after the reorganisation of the Île-de-France region in 1965. The Boulevard Périphérique (), often called the Périph', is a controlled-access dual-carriageway ring road in Paris, France. With a few exceptions (see '' Structure and Layout''), it is situated along Paris's administrative limit. The speed limit along the Périphérique is 70 km/h (45 mph). Each ring generally has four traffic lanes, with no hard shoulder. Its major interchanges are called ''portes''. Mabillon (Paris Métro)
Mabillon () is a station on line 10 of the Paris Metro, located at the heart of the Rive Gauche and the 6th arrondissement. It was named after the nearby street, rue Mabillon, which in turn was named after Jean Mabillon (1632–1707), a Benedictine monk and scholar, considered the founder of palaeography and diplomatics, who died nearby. Although the station is in close proximity to Saint-Germain-des-Prés on line 4 (less than 100 metres away), there is no free transfer between the two stations. Croix-Rouge () was the first terminus of Line 10 of the Paris Métro. It opened in 1923, but closed in 1939. The station was situated in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, between Sèvres – Babylone and Mabillon. History The name of the station comes from the junction named Croix-Rouge, situated at the north-eastern end of the Rue du Cherche-Midi. Paris Métro Line 8 (French: ''Ligne 8 du métro de Paris'') is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris Métro. It connects Balard in the southwestern part of Paris to Pointe du Lac station in the southeastern suburbs, following a parabolic route on the Rive Droite of the Seine. The last line of the original 1898 Paris Métro plan, which opened in July 1913, it was initially intended to link Porte d'Auteuil and Opéra.
