Panama National Football Team
The Panama national football team () represents Panama in men's international Association football, football and is governed by the Panamanian Football Federation, Federación Panameña de Fútbol (). The team represents all three FIFA, CONCACAF and the regional Central American Football Union, UNCAF. Panama qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the first time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, 2018 tournament in Russia and scored their first goal of the World Cup against England national football team, England, although they lost the match 6–1. They finished bottom of their group. 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup
The 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup was the ninth version of the biennial association football, football tournament for the CONCACAF national teams of Central America. The event took place in San Salvador, El Salvador from February 8 to February 18, 2007. It was the second time El Salvador hosted the competition. The tournament also served as a qualifying process for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Costa Rica national football team, Costa Rica won the tournament on Penalty shootout (association football), penalty kicks after a 1–1 draw with Panama national football team, Panama in the final. 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup
The UNCAF Nations Cup 2009 was the tenth edition of the UNCAF Nations Cup, the biennial football (soccer) tournament for the CONCACAF-affiliated national teams of Central America. The first five places qualified for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The event was going to take place in Panama City, Panama between January 22 and February 1, 2009, but the Panamanian FA announced that they would not host the event due to not having an adequate stadium available for the time period of the tournament. The alternative hosts were Honduras and Guatemala. Honduras submitted an official replacement bid on November 12, and after some consideration it was moved to Honduras. All games were played in Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino in Tegucigalpa. The tournament was sponsored by Digicel. Copa Centroamericana
The Copa Centroamericana () was an association football competition organized by UNCAF as its top regional tournament for men's senior national teams from Central America. The tournament was held from 1991 to 2017, every two years in the years before and after the FIFA World Cup and also served as a qualification method for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. It was originally known as Copa de Naciones UNCAF () from 1991 to 2009, changing to the latter name in the 2011 edition. The tournament consisted of two stages, in the group stage of the tournament finals, the seven teams competed in two groups with a round-robin format, one group with four teams and the other with three teams, with the top two teams in each group qualified for the semifinal, where the winners advanced into the final while the losers disputed a third place match. 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals Squads
The 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals was the four-side final tournament of the 2024–25 CONCACAF Nations League held in the United States from 20 to 23 March 2025. The four national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players, of which three had to be goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. Each national team had to submit a preliminary list of up to 60 players (five of whom had to be goalkeepers) to CONCACAF no later than thirty days prior to the start of the tournament and players could not be added to these lists after the specified deadline. The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 13th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 23rd CONCACAF regional championship overall in the organization's fifty-four years of existence. It was held in the United States, with two matches being played in Canada, marking the first time the CONCACAF Gold Cup was played in that country. Mexico won the competition after surviving both the quarter-finals and semi-finals in controversial circumstances, defeating Jamaica—the first Caribbean nation to reach such a stage—in the final.
