Pampa Húmeda
The Humid Pampas () is an extensive ecoregion of flat, fertile grassland of loessic origin in Argentina. It has a precipitation average of 900 mm per year, in contrast with the Dry Pampas to the west, which average less than 700 mm. Setting Like the Pampas in general, the region's terrain is predominantly hilly and of a temperate climate, though rich mollisols are more abundant here than to the west, where soils of loessic origin are more common. Except for a few bluffs near the Paraná and Río de la Plata rivers, as well as the Tandilia and Ventania mountain ranges to the south, the region's slope rarely exceeds 6 degrees. It covers Buenos Aires Province almost completely, the centre and south of Santa Fe Province, most of Córdoba Province and the eastern third of La Pampa Province, totalling at least 600,000 km2. Sierra De La Ventana
Sierra de La Ventana is a village in Tornquist Partido in the southwest of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. With a population of 1,819 inhabitants (), it is one of the most attractive tourist centres in the Province and has numerous recreation areas and parks. The town, originally called Villa Tívoli Argentina, was founded on 17 January 1908 by Diedrich Meyer and developed around the railway station. It was later renamed Sierra de La Ventana after the nearby 1,186 m rocky peak ''La Ventana'', part of the Sierra de la Ventana mountains, which has a natural rock formation containing an opening or 'window' 9 m wide and 11 m high. Sierra De Los Padres
Sierra de los Padres is a string of rocky hills and ridges about 14 miles west of Mar del Plata. They are part of Tandilia's mountain range, actually a series of low rock-strewn elevations of precambrian origin extended from central Buenos Aires Province to Cabo Corrientes, a cape on the shores of Mar del Plata. These peaks are barely 270 mt (900 feet) high, surrounded by farms in the lower lands and by an exclusive neighborhood built on their slopes. La Pampa () is a sparsely populated province of Argentina, located in the Pampas in the center of the country.
