Palace Super Falcons Women's Academy
Palace Super Falcons is a South African women's association football club that plays in the SAFA Women's Regional League, the third tier in South African women's soccer. They are three time national women's champions having won the title three times in a row in 2010, 2011, and 2012. History Palace Group formed Palace Super Falcons Women's Academy in 2002. Aiming to develop women soccer and young girls socially and to decrease their involvement in criminal activity, substance abuse and other social ill by participating in sport. The Palace Group also has a youth academy which provided for junior players from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in townships around Midrand. Portia Modise (born 20 June 1983) is a South African footballer who was named Player of the Championship at the 2006 Women's African Football Championship. She represented the South Africa national team at the 2012 London Olympics. She became the first African player to score 100 international goals. Theophilus Doctor Khumalo (born 26 June 1967), is a South African former football player. He is best known for being a star midfielder for Kaizer Chiefs as well as the South African national team.
