PBA Season 49 Draft
The PBA season 49 draft was the 39th edition of the PBA draft and the draft for the 2024–25 PBA season. It was held at Glorietta Activity Center in Makati on July 14, 2024, marking its first time at the venue since 2004. The league determined the drafting order based on the performance of the member teams from the 2023–24 season, with the Converge FiberXers, which finished last, picking first. Draft order The draft order was determined based on the overall performance of the teams from the previous season. The Commissioner's Cup final ranking comprises 40% of the points, while the ranking of the Philippine Cup is 60%. Glorietta
Glorietta (; stylized in all lowercase), also known as Ayala Malls Glorietta and formerly known as Quad, is a shopping mall complex in the Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The mall is owned by Ayala Land and operated through its subsidiary, the Ayala Malls. The mall is divided into five sections (named Glorietta 1 to 5) and contains many shops and restaurants, as well as cinemas, gyms, arcades and two central activity centers. The Blackwater Bossing is a professional basketball team owned by Ever Bilena, Inc. that is playing in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) beginning in the 2014–2015 season. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team began in 2010 after the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) acquired the PBA franchise of the Sta.
