The ''American Song Contest'' is an American music reality competition television series based on the Eurovision Song Contest. The sole season of the series was hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson; it consisted of eight episodes airing between March 21 and May 9, 2022 on NBC. It saw acts representing all fifty U.S. states, five territories, as well as Washington, D.C. compete for the title of Best Original Song. Over the course of the season, 56 competing entries were divided into five qualifying rounds leading to two 11-participant semi-finals, and culminating with a 10-participant final round, which aired as the season finale. Daddy DJ is a French dance act consisting of David Le Roy and Jean-Christophe Belval. Musical career David Le Roy and Jean-Christophe Belval first met at the French sound engineering school in Paris, where Berval was a teacher while Le Roy was a student. ''Slow Motion'' is the eleventh and final studio album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in April 2002. Overview In North America, ''Slow Motion'' was only available via mail-order from the band's website, released on their own label. The song "Goldrush" was actually written in the early 1970s under the first Supertramp line-up, by original guitarist Richard Palmer-James, and was used as the opening number in all their shows prior to ''Crime of the Century''. The band had tried to record it on several previous occasions, but had never before been able to recreate it in the studio to their satisfaction.
