Outsider (comics)
The Outsider is the name of three characters appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first is an evil persona that Alfred Pennyworth assumes after nearly dying. The second, Michael Desai, is an Indian metahuman and businessman introduced during the ''Flashpoint (comics), Flashpoint'' storyline. The third is Alfred's Earth-Three counterpart. Publication history The Pre-''Crisis'' version of the Outsider first appeared as an unseen character in ''Detective Comics'' #334 and was created by Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino. The ''Flashpoint'' version of the Outsider first appeared in ''Flashpoint: The Outsider'' #1 and was created by James Robinson (comics), James Robinson and Javi Fernandez. Detective Comics
''Detective Comics'' (later retitled as ''Batman Detective Comics'') is an American comic book series published by Detective Comics, later shortened to DC Comics. The first volume, published from 1937 to 2011 (and later continued in 2016), is best known for introducing the superhero Batman in Detective Comics 27, ''Detective Comics'' #27 (Cover date, cover-dated May 1939). A second series of the same title was launched in September 2011, but in 2016, reverted to the original volume numbering. Chandigarh
Chandigarh is a city and union territory in northern India, serving as the shared capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. The Batman family enemies are a collection of supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. These characters are depicted as adversaries of the superhero Batman and his allies. Black Manta (David Milton Hyde) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Bob Haney and artist Nick Cardy, the character first appeared in ''Aquaman'' #35 (September 1967). He has since endured as the archenemy of the superhero Aquaman.
