Oregon Ducks Football
The Oregon Ducks football program is a college football team for the University of Oregon, located in the U.S. state of Oregon. The team competes at the NCAA Division I level in the Football Bowl Subdivision, FBS and is a member of the Big Ten Conference (B1G). Though now known as the Ducks, the team was commonly called the Webfoots until the mid-1960s. The program first fielded a football team in 1894. Oregon plays its home games at the 54,000 seat Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, Eugene. The program has been one of the most successful programs in college football since the 2000s. Oregon football has been known in recent years for creative uniform, helmet, and logo designs, facilitated by a close partnership with Oregon-based Nike, Inc., Nike. 1919 Oregon Webfoots Football Team
The 1919 Oregon Webfoots football team represented the University of Oregon as a member of the Northwest Conference and the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) during the 1919 college football season. Led by second-year head coach Charles A. Huntington, the Webfoots compiled an overall record of 5–2 and lost to undefeated Harvard in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day. Oregon had a record of 2–1 in both conferences, placing second in the Northwest Conference and sharing the PCC title with Washington. Oregon played home games at Kincaid Field and Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, and Multnomah Field in Portland, Oregon. The Oregon State Beavers football team represents Oregon State University in NCAA Division I FBS college football. The team first fielded an organized football team in 1893 and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Their home games are played at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon, Corvallis, Oregon. History Early history Football at Oregon State University started in 1893 shortly after athletics were initially authorized at the college, which was then known as Oregon Agricultural College. 2020 Oregon Ducks Football Team
The 2020 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by third-year head coach Mario Cristobal. The Ducks played their home games at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, and competed as members of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference. On August 11, 2020, the Pac-12 Conference canceled all fall sports competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the decision was reversed on September 24, when the Pac-12 announced that they would play a seven-game schedule starting November 6. Despite finishing in second place in the North Division during the regular season, the Ducks would represent the division in the Pac-12 Championship Game due to first-place Washington having an insufficient number of players available due to COVID-19. The 2019 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon during the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by second-year head coach Mario Cristobal. 2011 Oregon Ducks Football Team
The 2011 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by third year head coach Chip Kelly and played their home games at Autzen Stadium for the 45th straight year. They are a member of the Pac-12 Conference in the North Division. 2009 Oregon Ducks Football Team
The 2009 Oregon Ducks football team represented the University of Oregon as member of the Pacific-10 Conference the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was led by head coach Chip Kelly in his first season as a head coach at the Division I FBS level. 1957 Oregon Ducks Football Team
The 1957 Oregon Ducks represented the University of Oregon in the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) during the 1957 college football season. Three home games were played on campus in Eugene at Hayward Field and three at Multnomah Stadium in Portland. Led by seventh-year head coach Len Casanova, the Ducks were 7–3 in the regular season and 6–2 in the PCC, co-champions with rival Oregon State. Although the Beavers won the Civil War game in Eugene, the PCC had a no-repeat rule for the Rose Bowl, so the Ducks had clinched the berth the previous week with a win in Los Angeles over struggling USC.
