Oregon's 48th House District
District 48 of the Oregon House of Representatives is one of 60 House legislative districts in the state of Oregon. As of 2021, the boundary for the district contains portions of Clackamas and Multnomah counties. The district includes areas of outer southeast Portland surrounding Powell Butte as well as parts of Barton, Boring, Damascus, and Happy Valley. The current representative for the district is Democrat Hoa Nguyen of Portland. Election results District boundaries have changed over time. Oregon () is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the Western United States. The Columbia River delineates much of Oregon's northern boundary with Washington, while the Snake River delineates much of its eastern boundary with Idaho. Wayne Krieger
Wayne Krieger (born September 1940) is an American Republican politician, retired game warden, and tree farmer from Gold Beach on the southern coast of the U.S. state of Oregon. He served on the Oregon State Police Force from 1964 to 1991. He represented District 1 (formerly District 48) of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2001 until 2017. Early life, education, and law enforcement career He was born in 1940 in Portland and was raised in Seaside, Oregon. He graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) in 1961. He was an Oregon State Police officer for over 27 years. He served in the Game Enforcement Division, enforcing fish and wildlife laws. He retired in July 1991. 2018 Oregon Legislative Election
The 2018 elections for the Oregon Legislative Assembly determined the composition of both houses for the 80th Oregon Legislative Assembly. The Republican and Democratic parties held primary elections on May 15, 2018 with general elections on November 6, 2018. As a result of the elections, the Democratic Party expanded its advantage in both houses of the state legislature. Jeff Reardon (born 1947) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives representing District 48 since January 14, 2013. Independent Party Of Oregon
The Independent Party of Oregon (IPO) is a centrist political party in the U.S. state of Oregon with more than 135,000 registrants since its inception in January 2007.
