The Most Illustrious Order of Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang ( Malay: ''Darjah Kebesaran Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang Yang Amat Di Mulia'') is a knighthood order of the Sultanate of Pahang. History The order was founded by Sultan Ahmad Shah on 24 October 1977. It is awarded to individuals who have rendered meritorious service to the State. Sabbaruddin bin Chik (; 13 December 1941 – 4 December 2021) was a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Culture, Arts and Tourism from 1987 to 1996. Samsudin bin Osman (born 3 March 1947) is a Malaysian former public servant who served the Malaysian Government from 1969 to 2006. His last office in the public service was Chief Secretary to the Government from 1 February 2001 to 2 September 2006. Tengku Ahmad Rithauddeen bin Tengku Ismail (; 24 January 1928 – 29 April 2022) was a Malaysian politician and barrister who formerly served as chairman of the UMNO disciplinary board.
