OPS-301
OPS (in earlier versions: OPS-301), the Operationen- und Prozedurenschlüssel (Operation and Procedure Classification System) is the German modification of the International Classification of Procedures in Medicine ( ICPM). For German hospitals it is currently the official coding system for medical procedures. Apart from its use for clinical controlling and performance statistics it is a basis for inpatient claims processing within the German Diagnosis-related Groups ( G-DRG) system. Yearly OPS releases are produced by DIMDI ( Deutsches Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information). Besides OPS, G-DRG also requires disease codes based on ICD-10-GM is (the German Modification of the current WHO standard). History Basis for OPS was the Dutch ICPM-DE, from which the procedure classification OPS-301 according to §301 SGB V was created. Version 1.0 was published in October 1994 and became effective on January 1, 1995. Originally a subset of ICPM, OPS-301 has been expand ... On-base Plus Slugging
On-base plus slugging (OPS) is a sabermetric baseball statistic calculated as the sum of a player's on-base percentage and slugging percentage. The ability of a player both to get on base and to hit for power, two important offensive skills, are represented. An OPS of .800 or higher in Major League Baseball puts the player in the upper echelon of hitters. Typically, the league leader in OPS will score near, and sometimes above, the 1.000 mark. Equation The basic equation is OPS = OBP + SLG \, where OBP is on-base percentage and SLG is slugging average. These averages are defined below as: OBP = \frac - the numerator "H + BB + HBP" effectively means "number of trips to first base at least" - the denominator "AB + BB + SF + HBP" effectively means "total plate appearances", but does not include sacrifice bunts This is because though a batter makes a trip to the plate he is not given an "AB" when he walks (BB or HBP) or when he hits the ball into play and is called out, but th ... Office Of Public Safety
The Office of Public Safety (OPS) was a U.S. government program within the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that provided training, assistance and equipment to the security forces of U.S. allies. The program commenced in November 1962 and was terminated by Congress in 1974. Origins and Objectives The OPS originated in the Public Safety program under the International Cooperation Administration (ICA) in 1954. Open Pluggable Specification
Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) is a computing module plug-in format available for adding computing capability to flat panel displays. The format was first announced by NEC, Intel, and Microsoft in 2010. Computing modules in the OPS format are available on Intel- and ARM-based CPUs, running operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Google Android. The main benefits of using OPS in digital signage are to reduce setup time and improve integration, while also reducing downtime and maintenance cost by making it extremely easy to replace the computing module in case of a failure. Technical specification * A computing module fully enclosed in a 180mm x 119mm x 30mm box * JAE TX25 plug connector and TX24 receptacle * 80-pin contacts * Supported interfaces: ** Power ** HDMI/ DVI and DisplayPort ** Audio ** USB Universal Serial Bus (USB) is an industry standard, developed by USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF), for digital data transmission and power delivery between ... Oriented Polystyrene
Polystyrene (PS) is a synthetic polymer made from monomers of the Aromatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon styrene. Polystyrene can be solid or foamed. General-purpose polystyrene is clear, hard, and brittle. It is an inexpensive resin per unit weight. It is a poor barrier to air and water vapor and has a relatively low melting point. Polystyrene is one of the most widely used plastics, with the scale of its production being several million tonnes per year. Polystyrene is naturally Transparency (optics), transparent to visible light, but can be colored with colorants. Uses include protective packaging (such as Foam peanut, packing peanuts and optical disc Optical disc packaging#Jewel case, jewel cases), containers, lids, bottles, trays, tumblers, disposable cutlery, in the making of models, and as an alternative material for phonograph records. As a thermoplastic polymer, polystyrene is in a solid (glassy) state at room temperature but flows if heated above about 100 ...
