Charles O'Bannon
Charles Edward O'Bannon Sr. (born February 22, 1975) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball with the UCLA Bruins. He was a two-time first-team all-conference player in the Pac-10 (now known as the Pac-12) and teamed with brother Ed to help the Bruins win a national championship in 1995. O'Bannon played two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Detroit Pistons and also played overseas in Japan, Poland, and Italy. College career He played college basketball for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins men's basketball team, where he was a star small forward/ shooting guard. He was a starter in 1994–95 on the school's 1995 NCAA championship team. O'Bannon was a first team All-Pac-10 selection in 1996 and 1997, and he was also voted co-Most Valuable Player of the Bruins in both of those years. Charles Edward O'Bannon Jr. (born March 1, 1999) is an American college basketball player for the TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12 Conference. He previously played for the USC Trojans. Early life O'Bannon was born to Valencia and Charles O'Bannon, who was playing professional basketball. O'Bannon lived in Japan from ages 2 to 14 while his father was playing there. O'Bannon attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He averaged 21.4 points as a senior at Bishop Gorman. In December 2016, he committed to the USC Trojans. He chose USC over UNLV, NC State, and UCLA. He was named a McDonald's All-American. College career O'Bannon was the first McDonald's All-American to join USC since DeMar DeRozan in 2008. Edward Charles O'Bannon Jr. (born August 14, 1972) is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a power forward for the UCLA Bruins on their 1995 NCAA championship team. He was selected by the New Jersey Nets with the ninth overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft. After two seasons in the NBA, he continued his professional career for another eight years, mainly playing in Europe. O'Bannon was the lead plaintiff in '' O'Bannon v. Frank O'Bannon
Frank Lewis O'Bannon (January 30, 1930 – September 13, 2003) was an American politician who served as the 47th governor of Indiana from 1997 until his death in 2003. As of October 2022, he remains the most recent United States Governor to have died in office. O'Bannon was a native of Corydon, Indiana. He graduated from Corydon High School (now Corydon Central High School) in 1948 and then Indiana University, where he met his wife Judy. Helen Bohen O'Bannon (1939 – October 19, 1988) was an economist who served as the Secretary of Public Welfare for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under Governor Dick Thornburgh. Presley O'Bannon (1776 – September 12, 1850) was a first lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, famous for his exploits in the First Barbary War (1801-1805). In recognition of his bravery, he was presented a sword for his part in attempting to restore Prince Hamet Karamanli to his throne as the Bey of Tripoli. This sword became the model for the Mameluke Sword, adopted in 1825 for Marine Corps officers, which is part of the formal uniform today. The Rockne was an American automobile brand produced by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana, from 1932 to 1933. The brand was named for University of Notre Dame football coach Knute Rockne and were produced in Detroit, Michigan. US production Discussions between Studebaker and Knute Rockne began in 1928. Rockne was offered a high-visibility job by Studebaker president Albert Erskine. Studebaker planned for a durable, inexpensive car. The Rockne would replace the slow-selling, unduly expensive Erskine car. There were two prototypes that some would consider 1931 Rocknes.
