Nicolás Lindley López
Nicolás Eduardo Lindley López (November 16, 1908 – May 3, 1995) was a Peruvian military commander who headed the military government in Peru for several months in 1963 and served as the 48th President of Peru (2nd President of the Military Junta). Biography Lindley was born in Lima in 1908 to an upper-class family of English descent. He studied at the Anglo-Peruvian School ( Colegio San Andrés). In 1926, he entered the Chorrillos Military School, where he obtained his doctorate in 1930. Lindley had a successful career within the military, and in 1960 he became general commander of the Peruvian Army. On July 18 1962, Lindley launched a military coup together with Ricardo Pérez Godoy against the democratically elected President of Peru Manuel Prado, in order to prevent the election of Manuel A. Nicolas Lopez (born 14 November 1980 in Tarbes) is a French sabre fencer. Lopez won the gold medal in the sabre team event at the 2006 World Fencing Championships after beating Ukraine in the final. He accomplished this with his teammates Vincent Anstett, Julien Pillet and Boris Sanson. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics he helped his team win a gold medal in fencing, after beating the United States in the final. Lopez also won the silver medal in the individual sabre fencing, losing to Zhong Man in the final. Nicolás Javier López Fernández (born March 16, 1983) is a Chilean film director, producer and screenwriter. He is known for comedies such as ''Promedio Rojo'' (2004), the ''Qué pena'' trilogy (2010-2012), and the Paz Bascuñán vehicles '' Sin filtro'' (2016) and ''No estoy loca'' (2018). In June 2018, a few months after López begun working on a film project about the MeToo movement, the magazine ''Sábado'' of ''El Mercurio'' published a report where various actresses made claims of sexual and workplace abuses against him.
